School Meals and Healthy Snacks

The free school meals self checking form can be found here.

Our lovely kitchen staff have adapted the menus based on our children's likes and dislikes, with the help of our School Council. Please see the copy of the menu via the link below. We publish this via our school newsletter too each week.

All school meals are cooked and served by Mellors Catering Services. More information about them can be found here  https://www.mellorscatering.co.uk/food

We are 'cashless', so please pay for school meals via MCAS.

Healthy Snacks at break times too!

Children in Reception to Year 2 all receive a piece of free school fruit, provided by the government fruit scheme. Toast can also be purchased daily for an additional snack.  Please send your child in to school with money in a purse if you would like them to have a piece of toast.

Children in all years groups can also bring in a healthy snack if they so wish. This means fruit, vegetable or bread based snacks only. No chocolate, sweets or cereal bars please.  We follow public health guidance for schools with regards to school snacks to ensure your child understands what healthy eating means and to ensure we do our bit in reducing sugary snacks, helping to ensure children have beautiful healthy teeth and gums!

We aim for a common sense approach to health eating as we want to support you and your child to have a healthy balanced diet.
