Each Governor at The Mosley Academy has established links with a curriculum area of the school. They look at the overall curriculum for their area and meet with the Co-ordinator to discuss policy, practise and developments in that subject. Governors also monitor teaching and learning, workbooks and assessment within the school.

They regularly visit the school, all have very close links as parents, ex-parents or members of the community. "Governor days" are held annually when the Governors spend a day in school monitoring work in classrooms, talking to the children, teachers, staff and Headteacher and looking through school planning and documentation.
