In Key Stage 2, we teach Spanish as part of our broad and balanced curriculum offer. Our aim is to foster a love of languages and to develop pupils' linguistic skills. Alongside this, our intercultural awareness work builds a strong understanding of the cultural similarities and differences between Spain and the UK. We value curiosity and acceptance and believe that regular teaching of a language in school supports this area of character development.
